Bacon reigns supreme
Gavin Rehkemper posted a list of Top 10 Lorem Ipsum Generators on the Internet and Bacon Ipsum is #1.
But I don’t need a list to tell me that. 🙂
SXSW starts tomorrow, hope to meet some Bacon Ipsum fans!

I’ll be attending SXSW Interactive this year and I hope to meet some fans of Bacon Ipsum. If you see someone that looks like Pvt. Pyle from Full Metal Jacket wearing a Bacon Ipsum shirt, it’s probably me. I promise I won’t eat your jelly donuts.
Or keep an eye out for my Bacon Ipsum badge. @jenkcunningham makes custom Twitter badges for people. You should get one. They’re awesome.

@Scrobby has whipped up an iOS Bacon Ipsum app and it’s now available in the App Store (iPhone and iPad).
Looks pretty good! I think I need to do some UI improvements to my Android app now. Thanks Scrobby!
Government pork
I thought Republicans were against pork barrel spending. Anyway, it’s still on the site as of tonight finally fixed, but I took screenshots for posterity.
We don’t care who y’all vote for, as long as that vote is for delicious meat.

Bacon Ipsum T-Shirts
Hey, the t-shirts are here SOLD OUT!

100% cotton Hanes t-shirts, men’s sizes small XL through 3XL (only these sizes left in-stock), and we have women’s sizes small through XL in this style (there’s a sizing chart on that page). We’ll get some pics of the women’s shirts soon.
Shirts are $10 each, shipped via USPS Priority Mail for US addresses. Shipping starts at $5.65 for one shirt and will vary based on number of shirts and destination. We can also ship international.
If there’s enough interest, I’ll set up something formal for ordering. Until then, send me an e-mail to place an order and I’ll give you an exact price. I can take payment via PayPal or money order, maybe credit card via SquareUp if I get it set up.
T-Shirt Preview
We’re getting some Bacon Ipsum t-shirts made. Here’s a preview:
Our logo on the front and a paragraph of meaty bacon ipsum goodness on the back. I really just wanted a few for myself to wear at SXSW, but I’m getting a bunch made. If you want one, we’ll have them here, probably pretty cheap too.
Bacon Ipsum on Android
The Bacon Ipsum app is now available on the Android Market. I’m not sure how useful it will be, but hey, there it is. It doesn’t require an internet connection, so you can use it on a plane, on a train, in a box, with a fox, etc.
SOPA Blackout
We’ll be participating in the SOPA blackout on January 18th.
